A Look at Washington State Pride

Parading loud and proud in Washington began with Seattle’s first Pride Parade in 1974 to mark the fifth anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. Since then, Pride parades have grown across the state.

Out and Proud VP Jade Gillies and Drag King Ceasar Hart, will be in attendance to share Grays Harbor history of our 8 years celebrating Pride.

Walk with Pride, Founder’s Day Parade July 3rd

Infographic for OPGHC Participating Events 2021

Out & Proud Grays Harbor Coalition is so excited to announce two events we will be apart of.

We want all our family and friends to march with OPGHC at the Aberdeen Founder’s Day Parade! Out & Proud is participating in the Aberdeen Founder’s Day Parade this year. We think it’s so important to have people walk with our float to show support for the local LGBTQ+ community. If you could come or ask others who might want to walk with us, I would sincerely appreciate it. We will be located on Market St in Aberdeen. The parade starts at 12:00, and if you want to walk with us you can come any time between 11:00 – 11:45. My Jeep will be decked out with Rainbow colors. You can’t miss us! We are float #14. If you can join us wear your Rainbow gear if you have it!

Second event is Aberdeen Rain Glow Festival, OPGHC will have a booth set up so come check us out and see what we have set up to represent our LGBTQ community. Please help spread the word.
