The Grays Harbor Pride Festival is going virtual this year!

We have been asked by so many people for more time to record their amazing performances, stories and content. After much consideration, Grays Harbor Virtual Pride 2020 will be moved to October 24! The new deadline to submit video is October 1.
We will still be having a live event on August 1 at 2pm. A little preview, so to speak. There will be Jackbox games you can participate in, maybe a performance (or two), and some MAJOR surprise guest appearances. You will want to tune in for that and maybe get some ideas on what to submit for Virtual Pride yourself.
Stay tuned to this page, subscribe to the YouTube channel and stay safe out there!

On October 24th, 2020. We will be live streaming an exciting celebration of all that is good and queer. Of course, we really can’t do Pride right without your help. That’s right!

This year’s Virtual Pride Festival features YOU!

Please consider helping make this festival happen in one of these ways.

1. Super awesome talent: We know that you’ve got something to show off and we want to see it! Please send a video (up to 4 minutes max) showing off your totally wonderful talent. This could be a drag performance, juggling, magic trick, comedy, makeup tutorial, beat poetry or story time (okay, that may need to be more than 4 minutes). Whatever your talent is, we want to see it! We are so excited to see and share your wonderful talent with Grays Harbor and the world! So what do you say? Will you please send us your video or let us know you would like our help as soon as possible. You can do so on this form. Thank you!

2. Your story: We are asking you to submit a video in one of three categories: a message wishing everyone a happy Pride, your coming out story, or your message reflecting It Gets Better. There is no need to be elaborate (you can record it on your phone). Please submit a video at this link. We can not guarantee that all videos will be used but will do our very best to include as many people as we can. We may edit your video as necessary. Late submissions (after July 19) are less likely to be included. We will do our best, though.

3. Your Financial Support: We hate to say it but putting on a family friendly festival (even a virtual one) costs money. The truth is, many of our regular vendors and sponsors are hurting this year. Do you think you can help fill the gap? If we had several businesses and individuals that could contribute as little as $20 this year, we could pull this off. If you can spare more, even better. If you or your business sponsor Grays Harbor Virtual Pride Festival this year, you will be doing so much good for our community and we will make sure everyone watching and participating knows how awesome you are.

We have three sponsorship levels: anyone contributing $20 or more gets in at the “Gay” level. If you can spare $50, that is “Super Gay”. And if you can sponsor at $200 or more: “OH! MY! GAY!”
You can submit your sponsorship form for us to contact you at this link.

4. Educational and Non-Profits: If your non-profit or educational organization has or would like to produce videos that are of interest to the LGBTQ+ community in Grays Harbor, including how your mission serves us, please consider sending a video by this link. Thank you!

5. Gamer Live Streaming

Do you like to play video games? Have you ever streamed yourself playing or wanted to? Want to help raise monies for the local LGBTQ+ community?

6. Show us your artwork!

We commissioned two local artists, Aubrey & Bryer Young, to create our full cover Virtual PRIDE graphic. We also had them create a blank one as we wanted to see everyone elses version of it! We think that there so many ways people see art and that is what makes the world beautiful. We want artists of all ages and talents to create your own version of our graphic. We will be showcasing the submissions throughout our live stream!
Click here to print off your own. We will be making printed copies and will be updating where the limited amounts will be located.

Color your graphic, take a pic of it, upload it to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ghvirtualpride2020
There are many more opportunities to be announced for so much more! Please stay tuned! This festival is for you!
